About Me
I'm an Army Wife. I'm a mother of 2, (one girl, one boy). I'm a nurse. I'm an optimist, with a touch of realist in there. I'm thoughtful. I'm creative. I'm honest, very much so. I'm here for those in need. I'm responsibly adventureous. I'm spiritually aware. I'm comfortable in my own skin. I'm true to form. I'm touched with a bit of OCD. I'm also touched with a huge imagination, making it hard to discredit things that are discreditted, free thinker if you will. I'm a bit short tempered ;). I need to learn more patience. I'm a loving woman who would go to the moon and back to keep my family safe and happy. These are some of things that identify me, but to truly know me, you would have to follow me through all my rants and raves, all my times of genius and triumph, all my days of sadness and misgivings. You want it? You got it all. This is me. A regular ole Southern Belle, tossed in the world of an Army wife and loving every minute of it.

Nice to meet you. My dad retired 4 years ago after serving 23 years in the army, and my fiance got out a few years back after 8 years in. Not very many people understand how hectic it is when someone you love is in the military. Tell your husband I said thank you for all he does :)
ReplyDeleteI found you at the weekly blog hop. If you'd like to follow back, you can find me at http://signedsealedanddeliverednc.blogspot.com/

I found you today when I went to sign up for theSITSGIRLS spring fling. Your blog caught my eye because I am also from the south. I have lived in 5 southern states including LA that is why the flori di le caught my eye. I love the bright colors on it with the words Eat, Create, and laugh. I have a cooking blog too at www.recipesforourdailybread.com. One thing I really like about your website and I try hard to do is take lots of pictures of each step. I love pictures and I know other people enjoy seeing pictures also. When I buy cookbooks, I am like a kid. I pick out the book with the best pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing your family is doing by serving our country! Thank you. You may like to read a post I wrote about honoring military at:http://recipesforourdailybread.com/2011/10/03/another-reason-we-love-silver-dollar-city-branson-mo/#more-383
